Evicted is a suite of 12 monotype prints that document twelve days of mourning.
The artist uses a window-screen as one would use silkscreen to print, where gestural movements push the ink creating a view where time is still. These prints present a tension between presence and absence, new and old. In a wider sense, the works address the notion of gestural abstraction, letting intuitive choices and gestural mark making be the act of printing in all its complexity.
